Brown Green Fall Leaf Jewelry Dishes 5 Ceramic Leaves

Description

Handmade ceramic brown clay jewelry dishes. These adorable jewelry dishes are made with dark brown clay and real leaves were pressed into the clay to make impressions of the leaves. After the first firing a mixture of different green glazes were applied to the vein impression of the leaves and a light wash of clear applied to the rest of the leaves to seal the porous clay. The glazing technique I used is to look like fall leaves when they turned dark brown and the green slowly fades which I find so beautiful. Great for jewelry dish or center pieces to decorate in the fall.
